Who we are

At Lancelot Studios, we honor the legacy of Lancelot—fearless, determined, and steadfast in his pursuit of greatness. Like the legendary knight, we are driven by a commitment to bold storytelling and cinematic excellence, crafting stories that inspire and endure.

Founded by William Alexander Julien, a visionary filmmaker and Master of Fine Arts candidate in Film Production at the University of Southern California, Lancelot Studios stands at the intersection of artistry and innovation. William brings unparalleled passion and experience to the studio as the director of over 16 short films, including La Cle De L’Amour, which earned over 20 festival selections and awards, and Time Before Christmas, which garnered over 65,000 views on YouTube. His latest work, Sabre: A Fencer’s Story, is captivating audiences on the 2023/2024 festival circuit.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Duke University in Cinematic Arts, William was honored with Duke’s inaugural Outstanding Filmmaker Award and gained valuable experience as a Division I varsity fencer and executive with Freewater Productions. He has worked alongside industry icons like two-time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple at Cabin Creek Films and producer Ross Dinerstein of Campfire Studios.

At Lancelot Studios, our mission is guided by three core principles:

Fearless Storytelling

We approach every project with the boldness and determination of a knight on a quest, crafting narratives that resonate and inspire.

Dedication to Craft

From narrative films to bespoke commercials, we fuse creativity with precision, delivering visually spectacular and thought-provoking work.

Inspiring the Future

As dreamers and creators, we champion stories that shape the next generation and connect with audiences around the world.

We are dreamers, creators, and storytellers. At Lancelot Studios, we’re not just making films or ads—we’re building connections, inspiring audiences, and shaping the future of storytelling.
